Solar Flare - Wotlk: Cannot access Northrend

Tried taking Zep to both Borean Tundra and Howling Fjord ... once the Zep leaves, you get a message that you must have the WotLK expansion and then you just hang there.  Crash your client and relog and you will find yourself back in the starter zone.


Help please!

Oh ... and yes, I am using the WotLK expansion. 
No addons.
