Outland Blacktalon

'Blacktalon the savage' --- coming to the cave is drawing so much mobs,  stonescyth alphas and whelps, that you have to fight your whole way in, and Blacktalon himself has no problem with two hunters 64 and 60? Don't remember it being this tough before?  Could have to do with aggro but even with the pet down it seemed to draw mobs

Think the last update did something to outland, and my wow, too? When i ride I now have the pet(s) running free beside me. The experience bars has disappeared :) and I can retake quests I've already done (Opti). The Adal quest that you take in Shatrath won't work anymore,.'Khagdar's servant' refuse to move from Khagdar. And in Zangarmarsh it was the same with a escort quest. Both my characters could take it, but the 'escort toon' refused to move.

Thank you for submitting this bug report! After looking a little into the quest I noted some information I'll be checking for in his script, and you are correct, it should be possible to get to him without aggro on the adds. I will look at the aggro range, as well as to see if there are waypoints in which the units should separate.

I'll be looking into your second post separately, as there are a lot of issues presented within it.

That sounds good :) Ah well, I'll give it a try and see. Not that I mind it being hard btw, some of the servers I played was ridiculously easy, but? I don't want it to be a mission impossible every time, sort of :)

One thing  I would deem important for hunters is getting the traps to work. Doesn't matter as much outside Outlands, but as you level up you miss them more and more. Depends on what style you're playing naturally, but normally I use them a lot.

I wasn't aware traps weren't operational. I believe traps are considered Gobjects and unless it's been fixed in MaNGOS (Most likely has, I stepped away from development for a long time) there will be issues with scripting gobjects. I specifically remember that workarounds were made to the ICC "Gunship Battle" because gobject issues.

Interesting, in what way does Gobjects differ?

Btw: Torgos became a piece of cake, well compared to Blacktalon, using two characters :) So I will say nuthin at all there, nuthin I say more than I think it worked pretty good, not too easy but doable.
